  Life as a Pet
The life inside our fluffy friends head, and how they interact with you and me. They are more than just a pet, they're family.

In Foers story of "My Life as a Dog" he tells a lot about the things our pets. He goes on to say how dogs can't communicate with us and tell us there feelings. Dogs can express their emotion, and know when our emotions are getting to us. They comfort us, they are our companions, and also reduce our stress. Dogs are family, and we treat them with the utmost respect and take car of them. The author was expressing all the different pros and cons of dogs. He was trying to let the reader fill the shoes of a dog. He wanted us to see what life is like as a pet. These fluffy friends might not be able to talk to us, but they can still show and express their feelings by how they interact with us on a day to day basis. They can express their emotions by how their body language, how they interact, and by their physical actions. Dogs are fun pets and we tend to treat them like our own, if we can understand their feelings we can become closer to them mentally, and physically. The writer wanted us to understand how the emotions of the dog influenced the behavior of it. We can infer that when we show our emotions to our pets, the pet understands the way we are feeling. The dog tries to help cheer us up when we are sad, they know when were happy, but most of all they are always going to be there until they sadly pass away. We treat them like family and take care of them as family. They are more then a friend, a pet, or a mans best friend, he's family and always will be.
